Alternative Provision
CA Beauty Academy are an approved VTCT training college based in the North East (Gateshead). We specialise in Level 1 & 2 Hair & Beauty courses.
In January 2024 we were approved by Durham County Council as an Alternative Provision centre who offer courses hair and beauty courses for 14 - 16 year olds.
VTCT Level 1 Hair & Beauty Skills (ages 14-16)
We recommend students in year 10 to start on this course. The structure of the Level 1 Hair and Beauty Skills consists of 4 units that include skincare, nail art, makeup and hair styling. All students will be provided with a tunic.
Once passed the course they can progress onto the level 2 in year 11.
VTCT Level 2 Hair & Beauty Skills (ages 14-16)
We recommend students in year 11to start on this course. The structure of the Level 2 Hair and Beauty Skills consists of 4 units that include skincare, nail art, makeup and hair styling. All students will be provided with a tunic.
Sessions & Costs
We currently run sessions on a Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 9am - 3pm and students are required to stay with us for a minimum of 6 months. Sessions are priced at £60 per day.
